Marshall Man Dies in Saline County Rollover
A Marshall man died Tuesday afternoon after a one-vehicle accident that occurred Monday night in Saline County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2003 GMC Savana, driven by 32-year-old Jessy D. Smith of Marshall, was on Missouri 20, near Green Avenue (west of Marshall) just after 6 p.m., when the van traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned.
The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, was ejected from the GMC. The van came to rest on the passenger side.

Smith was flown to University Hospital in Columbia by Life Flight, and later pronounced dead at 3 p.m. Tuesday by Dr. Hussien Waliye.
The GMC was totaled.
