A Tennessee man drowned in the Lake of the Ozarks on Friday, July 13, the Missouri Highway Patrol has reported.

According to a report, 37-year-old Brett R. Davidson of Clarksville, Tenn., was at the 5.2 mile marker on the main channel of Lick Branch Cove in Morgan County on Friday around 8 p.m. He was last seen on the dock and was later reported missing.

A search was initiated, and his body was not discovered until Saturday. Davidson was pronounced dead by Morgan County Coroner M.B. Jones at 11:07 a.m. The body was taken to Scrivner Morrow Funeral Home in Versailles.

A total of 11 Troopers took part in the search at the scene.
