Around 10:30pm Thursday night the Sedalia police were dispatched to an assault complaint in the 300 block of West 7th. Upon contact with the female victim she told the officers an un-named suspect had choked her, and stole her cell phone. The victim is seeking charges in the case.

Sedalia woman arrested for speeding and driving while suspended

At 10:43 am Thursday morning Sedalia police stopped a vehicle at 32nd and Southwest Blvd for speeding. Upon contact with the driver 18-year-old Savannah T. Stetzenbach of Sedalia she was found to be suspended. The police report states she was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail where she was booked and released with a court date for driving while suspended, and a citation for speeding.

40-year-old Sedalia man arrested for driving while suspended Wednesday

Just before 4pm Wednesday afternoon the Sedalia police stopped a vehicle at West 7th and Missouri Avenue for displaying plates for another vehicle. Upon contact with the driver, 40-year-old William C. Gardner of Sedalia he was found to be suspended. Gardner was arrested and taken to the Pettis County jail where he was booked and released with a court date.

Generator stolen from a man’s house on Wednesday

Around 2pm Wednesday afternoon the Sedalia Police were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of East Saline on a theft complaint. Upon arrival the complainant reported thieves entered the house through a side window, and stole a red colored generator valued at $500. There was no information on a possible suspect at news time.

Pistol reported stolen from a residence on East Saline

At 9am Wednesday morning Sedalia Police took a complaint on the theft of a pistol from a victim in the 1900 block of East 16th. According to the victim he was not sure when the Davis Industries .22 Caliber pistol was stolen from his home. Value of the pistol was set at $75. There were no suspects at newstime.
