Burglar assaults Sedalia woman Monday night

At 11:37 Monday night Sedalia Police were dispatched to a residence in the area of 28th and Ingram on a burglary complaint. Upon arrival the female victim who reportedly had minor injuries told the officers a suspect came into her home and assaulted her. The police report states the suspect had not been located at the time of the police report.

Wood’s Supermarket reports a theft of medication

Monday night Wood’s Supermarket reported two women entered the store, and placed two boxes of medication in their purses, and left without paying for them. The value of the medicine was said to be $4 per box. There was no other suspect information in the police report.

Breaktime at 808 east Broadway reports a theft

Monday evening the Breaktime Store located at 808 East Broadway reported the theft of a King Size package of Starburst valued at $1:98. There was no information on the suspect at news time.

Property Damage complaint filed Monday night on South Osage

At 7:32 Monday night Sedalia Police received a property damage report from a victim in the 600 block of South Osage. According to the female victim someone broke out the rear window of her vehicle. The police report states there was a bicycle post at the scene, which could be what was used to break the window. Cost of repairs to the vehicle was set at $300. There were no suspects at news time.
