Two Lincoln women arrested early Monday morning

At 12:30am Monday morning Sedalia Police investigated a vehicle parked behind a residence in the 1300 block of South Ohio.  Upon approaching the vehicle the officer reported he smelled the odor of marijuana. The police report states a glass pipe was found in the vehicle, that 26-year-old Rian N Wilborn of Lincoln admitted was hers. She was issued a summons and court date. During the investigation it was found that another occupant identified as 32-year-old Holly A. Boyer also of Lincoln had a warrant for a parole violation. Boyer was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail on the no-bond warrant.

27-year-old Sedalia man arrested at Kohls on a stealing/shoplifting charge

Around 4:15pm Sunday afternoon Sedalia Police responded to a theft complaint at Kohls located at 4300 Wisconsin Avenue. According to the caller the complainant was chasing the suspect. Upon arrival officers located the suspect, 27-year-old Korey Reese Isenberg of Sedalia. The police report states Esenberg was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending formal charges of stealing/shoplifting. The merchandise was returned to Kohls.

Attempted burglary reported on Sedalia’s Westside Monday morning

At 11:22am Monday morning Sedalia Police investigated an attempted burglary at a residence in the 1700 block of West 16th. Upon arrival the victim reported the thief failed to gain entry to the residence, but did inflict some damage in the effort. There was no information on a suspect at news time.
