Warrensburg man and Sedalia woman arrested at Walmart Sunday evening

At 5:16 Sunday evening Sedalia Police responded to the Walmart Store at 3201 West Broadway on two-subjects that were being detained by Asset Protection Personnel. Upon arrival the officers were told the female suspect, 24-year-old Jessica N. Muldoon of Sedalia left the store with sunglasses without paying for them. Muldoon was arrested on a stealing/shoplifting charge. The male suspect identified as 34-year-old Randy Lee Gleason Jr. of Warrensburg was arrested for driving while suspended when he admitted he drove Muldoon to Walmart. Both suspects were transported to the Pettis County Jail where they were booked and released with court dates.

Hit and Run Accident reported on West 10th Sunday morning

Just after 8am Sunday morning a victim in the 1100 block of West 10th reported his 2012 Chevrolet Camero was struck by a hit and run driver sometime overnight, while it was parked in front of his residence. There were no witnesses, and no suspect at the time of the police report.

Female victim reports being harassed at work via cell phone

Around 1:30 Sunday afternoon Sedalia Police took a harassment complaint from a female victim in the 3100 block of West Main. According to the victim she is receiving threatening calls on her cell phone while she is at work. There was no suspect information at news time.

Theft Complaints filed over the weekend

At 7:29 Sunday morning a victim in the 1700 block of South Brown filed a theft complaint with the Sedalia Police. According to the victim sometime overnight someone broke into his house and stole a 65” Plasma TV, some jewelry, and a 22 caliber Ruger Mark II Pistol. There were no suspects and no value was placed on the missing items.

A Mountain Bike valued at $300 was reported stolen Sunday afternoon in the 300 block of South Washington.

Sunday morning several bikes were reported stolen from a woman’s front porch in the 500 block of East 12th overnight.

A 15-gallon gas can containing 2-gallons of gas was reported stolen from a woman’s yard in the 1600 block of South Vermont. The theft took place Sunday afternoon according to the police report.
