84-year-old Smithton man suffers serious injuries in a Pettis County accident Wednesday

At 9am Wednesday morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident on Route “O” North of Booneville Road. The accident reportedly occurred as the 2008 Dodge driven by 84-year-old Charles W. Summers of Smithton ran off the roadway, and struck an embankment, and the side of the roadway. Summers was not wearing a seatbelt, and suffered serious injuries in the crash. He was taken to the University Hospital by Life Flight for treatment.

Three Stafford Missouri people are injured in a one vehicle accident Wednesday night

According to a Missouri State Highway [patrol accident report three Stafford Missouri residents were injured when the 2004 Honda driven by 53-year-old Renee M. Grzenia of Stafford lost control of her vehicle, travelled off the roadway, and overturned. Grzenia received minor injuries in the accident, while her passengers 30-year-old Amanda Cordova, and a months old infant, received minor injuries. The adults were taken to Research Hospital for treatment, while the baby was transported to Children’s Mercy.

Two vehicle accident in Henry County injures a Clinton man

21-year-old James A. Fields reportedly suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident, at 8:52 Wednesday night when the 2006 Chrysler 300 he was driving struck the 2002 GMC Yukon, driven by 25-year-old Angelo R. Leonardi of Blue Springs in the rear.  The Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report states Leonardi had struck a deer4 and was slowing at the time of impact. Fields was taken to Golden Valley Hospital by private vehicle for treatment of his injuries. Leonardi reportedly was not injured, but his vehicle received extensive damage in the crash. The Fields vehicle was totaled.

Rollover accident reported Wednesday in Lafayette County injures the driver

Just after 4pm Wednesday afternoon the Missouri State Highway patrol reported a one vehicle rollover accident on Cragg Road a half mile East of Buford Road in Lafayette County. The accident reportedly happened as the driver of a 2004 Chevrolet 21-year-old Dustin R. Bookman of Waverly lost control of his vehicle and skidded off the roadway. The vehicle then overturned and came to rest on its wheels in a field. Bookman was not wearing his seatbelt, and received minor injuries. He was taken to Lafayette County regional Hospital for treatment.
