Warsaw man arrested on multiple charges this (Friday) morning

At 2:25 this (Friday) morning Sedalia Police responded to the 1000 block of West Main on a report of suspicious activity in the area. The police report states upon arrival officers found a vehicle with its lights off backed up to a building with a male subject inside. A check through dispatch on the man identified as 34-year-old Carl Dean Cross of Warsaw found he was not supposed to be on the property. The police report also states, that during a search of the vehicle officers located drug paraphernalia, and a concealed weapon. Cross was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on 24-hour hold pending formal charges of unlawful possession of a concealed weapon, 1st degree trespassing, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Suspect who fled during a traffic stop faces a charge of felony resisting arrest

Just after 1am Thursday morning Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle in the area of 16th and Kentucky. The police report states a passenger exited the vehicle when it stopped, and fled the area. The report also says the suspect was visually identified, and was being sought for felony resisting arrest at the time of the police report.

Woman in the 3100 block of Brianna Drive reports a theft from her vehicle

Around 7:15am this (Friday) morning a woman in the 3100 block of Brianna Drive reported to the Sedalia Police, that sometime between noon and midnight Thursday someone stole her wallet from her vehicle. There was no other information in the police report.

Henry County accident injures a Lee’s Summit woman Thursday morning

At 9:20 Thursday morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a rollover Accident, that occurred on Missouri Highway 7 a tenth of a mile South of Missouri Route “O”. The accident occurred according to the report as the 2008 GMC driven by Jennifer E. Street of Lee’s Summit ran off the roadway. The driver overcorrected, the vehicle returned to the roadway, and then overturned in the median. Street suffered minor injuries, and was treated and released at the scene.
